Handcrafted Wooden Horse

Each Trauffer wooden animal is handcrafted and hand painted in the Bernese Oberland of Switzerland, making it unique.

In 1938, Alfred Trauffer, the grandfather of the current owner of Trauffer, founded his company with such artistic craftsmanship.
Even today, the wooden animals in the “Edition 1938” collection, such as this wooden horse, are carved in the same highly complex and artistic way.
