At La Maravillosa Calle Bolton they create toys that tell stories, reconstruct memories and invite you to start new traditions. 

These are handmade in Argentina and we are happy to bring these beautiful wooden toys to Canada.

Inspired by the birth of their son, Meg and Kevin opened up Modern Monty, a store that has evolved since 2015 to now have a range of luxe, boutique, educational toys, puzzles and games.

Meg has a degree in Applied Science and Psychology and a Masters of Counselling, along with 12 years experience working in psychology, mental health and clinical governance. Her knowledge of children's development and learning theories has helped to ensure Modern Monty products are engaging and educational.

Kelvin has a background in professional landscape photography, and has an artist's eye for detail, ensuring the final product and packaging is beautiful and eye-catching. 

Classic toys and educational products have been reimagined to encourage a deep connection with the natural world, from a young age. Modern Monty believe it's important for children to learn about and appreciate nature. They intend their products to help nurture little conservationists.

Modern Monty manufacturers are FSC certified, which means that they operate in an environmentally, economically and socially responsible way. All efforts are made to utilise natural and organic materials when they can and they are proud to offer a range of plastic-free, earth-friendly products. 

Moon Picnic creates carefully designed toys with a focus on engagement – how the toys can connect to children's daily lives, how they can interact intelligently and emotionally with the toy.

Poltora Stolyara, means One and a Half Carpenters in Russian, design and produce toys of natural and eco-friendly materials: wood and textile.

Poltora Stolyara’s toys look very much like objects of everyday life and have moving elements that help develop the fine motor skills of the child.

While playing, children learn to use these objects risk-free.

All wooden parts are finished with natural oil that is safe for kids. They polish every item meticulously for the playing experience to be absolutely safe.

Raduga Grëz ethically make their toys by hand in small batches that will never serve as a bad example for your children. They use only solid wood grown in their region and purchase it from a responsible supplier. 
Raduga Grëz is strongly against wood wasting and use wood with beautiful natural markings on it, which they equate to birth marks, stretch marks or freckles, which most people have. 
Their toys are coated with a water-based varnish which keeps the natural pattern of the wood and preserves its tactility.

Owners Dmitriy and Natalia are not only business partners, but are a husband and wife team. Once their son was born their lives changed and they became very aware of what materials surrounded their child. They quickly realized how important it is to choose the right products.

As their son grew, Dmitriy used his ability to craft things from wood to build toys for his young son while Natalia used her education in art and photo school to paint them. From there, their passion grew into this beautiful business that creates beautiful toys for children all over the world!

Tangerine Toys is a small line of toys and objects designed for kids.

They aim to create objects that will hopefully spark imagination and fun.

All products are carefully made using mainly hardwood and 100% organic cotton.

For Taya and Roma, wood is extremely warm, alive and a beautiful material that has become their passion.
They like the idea of a small family workshop where everything is made by hands with good thoughts.

Taya and Roma work in two directions: a story for children and a story of a warm house.

They believe that their natural toys give a huge space for kids’ imagination development, that is also a base for creativity and harmonious growth.

Since 1938, the lovingly handcrafted wooden toys and souvenirs from Trauffer Switzerland have been made in their home village in the beautiful Bernese Oberland.
